ICT Star on car Mobile Phone Charges

EURO 2008 star Marius Niculae has been accused of using a mobile phone while driving on an Inverness road.

The 27-year-old former Inverness Caledonian Thistle centre forward, is alleged to have committed the offence in the city’s Shore Street on 14th April this year.

Niculae did not appear at Inverness Justice of the Peace Court yesterday and his case was adjourned without plea for three weeks until 2nd September.

Niculae was transferred to Dinamo Bucharest for £400,000 at the end of July. He appeared in two group stage matches for Rumania in Euro 2008.
